"In the early morning of November 19th, Russian drones were launched in multiple groups and attacked Kiev in waves from various directions. Simultaneously, the drones continuously changed their movement directions along the routes," said Serhiy Popko, the leader of the military management agency appointed by Ukraine, on the Telegram channel.

"That is why air raid warnings have been announced multiple times in the capital area," Popko added.

As of now, the local authorities have not reported any serious damage, and there are no casualties. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian air forces claimed that their air defense system had shot down 15 out of 20 Russian Shahed drones in three areas: Kiev, Poltava, and Cherkasy.

Additionally, Popko announced that nearly 10 other drones were shot down in Kiev and the suburbs of the capital. According to Reuters, Russia has not yet confirmed or denied the incident.
